How many people will be coming to clean my home?

 

Our cleaning technicians work in groups of 2 or 3, depending on your specific cleaning needs. Before sending our cleaning technicians, we consult you about your desired maid services, and then determine which of our trained technicians are available and best suited for the job.

How often should I have my home cleaned?

For a healthy house, condo or apartment, we recommend you get your home cleaned at least once a week. However, you have a few options for recurring cleaning appointments: bi-weekly, tri-weekly, or every 4 weeks. You can also book on an occasional basis. For a popular option, choose our Complete Cleaning Package. You can customize your cleaning schedule to meet your particular needs and budget.

Do I have to be home when you clean our home?

You can choose to be at home or away from home for your cleaning—we always work around your preferences. We offer many safe options for you to give us access to your home when you aren’t there. Most of our clients provide us with a key to their residence. We keep the key in a secure lockup area in our office that can only be accessed with a pin. For maximized security, the locker will never display your name, address, or any other identifying information. Only the cleaning technicians assigned to your home will have the code. If you have a different preference, you can tell us exactly how you want to give us access to your home for cleanings.

Do you use my vacuum and cleaning solutions?

Dust Queen usually uses our own state of the art equipment. All our solutions are environmentally safe and biodegradable. That means they’re safe for you, your family and your pets. We always use micro-fiber cloths that are effective yet gentle on all surfaces. If you prefer, we will use your equipment and cleaning methods.

How do you get into our home if we are not able to be there?

When you book with Dust Queen, entry into your home is discussed. You can provide us with a key, or make other arrangements.

Do you use harsh chemicals for your cleaning solutions?

Never. We only use biodegradable and environmentally safe products. All our cleaning products are provided by Cintas.

What about my pets? We have a dog and a cat.

All of us at Dust Queen love animals. Upon booking we like to put your pets’ names on your file so the crews can address them by name. Any special instructions regarding your pets are also included in your file.

What days do you clean homes?

 

Our regular cleaning hours are Monday through Friday. However, we will consider special requests for residential cleaning over the weekend. You can make a request here.

 

What times of the day do you clean?

 

We work around your schedule. You can schedule times for our cleaning services here, and one of our cleaning technician teams will be available for you soon after. Our cleaning hours are between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and office hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Do you use cloths or sponges when cleaning?

Our products and tools follow only the safest cleaning procedures. We use micro-fibre cloths to do all cleaning. This prevents scratches on your walls, furniture and appliances. We do not use sponges, since they retain bacteria.

Are your staff insured?

All our cleaning technicians are insured, bonded and covered by Workers’ Compensation. Dust Queen has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Are your staff trained?

Better than anyone. Since we value our dependability and your trust, we only hire and train the best cleaning technicians we can find. All our cleaning technicians go through an extensive training program for janitorial cleaning and residential cleaning. Our field operations supervisor provides coaching and mentoring for continual improvement. It’s one of the reasons why people choose us!

Do you sell gift certificates?

 

Yes, and they’re an excellent gift idea! People love to give them for birthdays, Christmas, weddings, baby showers, and Mother’s Day, to name a few. We sell them in hourly increments with a 3-hour minimum.

 

Are you members of the Better Business Bureau (BBB)?

 

Dust Queen is proud to be a member with an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau since 1992. Our entire staff maintains the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and expertise.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No, you aren’t bound by any contracts with us. All we ask from you is a minimum of 48-hour notice before cancelling any cleaning appointments.

When I call your office will I get an answering service or voice mail?

During our regular office hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM), a member of our knowledgeable customer support staff is always available on the phone to answer your questions. We active our voicemail after business hours, so you can leave a message and your call will be returned promptly the following business day.
